On this page, you will find files relating to the game system used with Lune. These rules are simply house rule modifications to standard AD&D 2nd Edition rules, and aren't meant to replace the AD&D rules.

|Char-gen.pdf||347||CHARACTER GENERATION TABLES
Character generation tables for characters on Lune, including modified ability tables (updated for Skills and Powers), rules for character generation, social class tables, Lune rules on magic and specialities, combat skills, and combat actions.
|Combat.pdf||182||COMBAT ACTIONS AND TABLES
This document includes new saving throw categories based on a a posting on Usenet by Mike Brown in April 1995. These categories (Reflex, Resist, Willpower, Illusion, Magic, and Death) seem a lot more "realistic" than the rather archaic categories in 2nd Edition AD&D®.
Martial arts rules, partially based (in concept) on the rules provided in AD&D® First Edition Oriental Adventures®.
A revised psionics system, compatible with Skills and Powers, which includes alternative abilities for psionics use. Lune has no Psionicist class, so all characters with psionic powers have these powers in addition to their normal skills.
The complete Lune skills/proficiencies system, including rules and skill descriptions. This system sets a level playing field for all characters, no matter what class or kit they have (i.e. it allows for the dozens of "bonus" skills introduced with certain kits in the "Complete" handbooks). It also allows for skill prerequisites, so, for example, Basic Healing is a prerequisite of Advanced Healing.
|Skills-summary.pdf||432||SUMMARY OF SKILLS
Summary tables for the Lune skills system, sorted both alphabetically, as well as by category (e.g. Outdoors skills, scholarly skills, trade-related skills etc).
